Empowerment of Marginalized Group through Rural Women's School

Women as marginal groups have a large number in Indonesia. Women, especially the rural area, generally very limited knowledge and skills they become more marginalized. Actualy can potential national development if empowered. This research tries to describe process of women empowerment women’s school. Using descriptive methods qualitative approaches, this focused on women's activities, learning systems, involved stakeholders barriers faced by schools. The results study showed that activities were carried out giving motivation, skills. Learning system conducted through method material, practice, outclass. Stakeholders running schools are government, private sector, community university. obstacles implementation school fluctuating participants, funding, communication, adjustment material training due absence presenters.
